Am I a Candidate for FMR?

Full mouth reconstruction is a plan of treatment that combines several different restorative dental treatments. We will customize a plan for you that is unique to your specific needs.

Ideal candidates are:

  • Patients who have had a tooth loss, injured or chipped teeth
  • Patients with significant tooth decay
  • Patients who have had teeth movement due to not wearing orthodontic retainers

What Kinds of Procedures Might be Involved in my Smile Makeover?

During your full mouth reconstruction, you can expect a variety of cosmetic dental procedures to be used. Patients in Geneva and Batavia, IL have experienced the use of dental veneers, crowns, implants and teeth whitening during their smile makeovers.

In-office Whiteningprocedures are used to increase the youthful appearance of your teeth by removing stains

Dental Veneerscan be placed to improve the look of damaged teeth. These can be used to make teeth even in size, cover dark stains and fix the look of teeth which have been chipped or cracked.

Dental Crownsare used when teeth are more severely damaged. A crown will entirely surround a broken or damaged tooth, improving its appearance and also increasing your use of the tooth.

Dental Implants are used to replace missing teeth. Our team will secure a metal post to the jawbone and then help you to choose replacement teeth that will completely match your current teeth. These replacement teeth attach to the metal post and are very durable. These are done so that you will not be able to tell the difference between your implants and your natural teeth.

Dental Bridgesare used when there is a series of missing teeth. These help to bridge the gap between existing teeth.

How Much Does This Procedure Cost?

Because these Smile Makeovers are completely customized to our cosmetic dentistry patients, we can set you up with an individualized estimate of the cost when we discuss what is necessary for your makeover. Depending on your dental insurance plan, all or part of the cost may be included in your insurance coverage as well. If you have any questions about how we can set you up with a brilliant new smile, call our office at 630-984-5605 today, and let's help you get started.

What is the Recovery/Healing Process Like?

After these procedures, patients can expect to have some tenderness in the gums and some minor swelling. These can be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Dental implants require a longer recovery process, but will typically be completely healed in 3-5 months. You can discuss any of your recovery concerns with our knowledgeable staff.
