Meet the Doctor

You can rest assured that you’ll receive the personalized attention you deserve. As your dentist in Batavia IL, he will listen to your needs and answer all your questions. Plus, you’ll enjoy our friendly, caring team. Dr. Murphy graduated from SIU Dental School in Alton, IL in 2002. He did his undergraduate at Bradley University graduating in 1998. His practice is located in Batavia, IL where he has been practicing since January of 2005. He resides in Batavia with his wife and three young girls. During dental school, Dr. Murphy went to Jamaica on a humanitarian trip where the team of doctors and students performed extractions, cleanings and basic restorative procedures. Furthermore, when he graduated from SUI Dental School, he received an award from The Academy of Operative Dentistry.


He is currently a member of American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society (http://www.isds.org), Fox Valley Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has received an award for Top Doc organization in 2011.


Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time within the community. He has been a member of Batavia Rotary since 2005 and served as Secretary of the club for 2 years. Furthermore, he is member of Batavia Chamber of Commerce and served on Batavia Access Fireworks Committee.


Dr. Murphy likes to spend his free time traveling to warm places. Furthermore, he enjoys deep sea fishing. He is still looking for the blue marlin that got away from him on his honeymoon in 2002. In addition, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time with his family. The three little girls keep him hopping.

Rachelle began her dental career in 2014 as a dental assistant, where she discovered her passion for patient care and oral health. She went on to pursue her dental hygiene education at Lake Land College, where she graduated with the skills and knowledge to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Rachelle is a valued member of our team, and is also known for her gentle approach and dedication to making every patient feel comfortable and cared for.


Outside of the office, Rachelle is a busy mom of two who loves spending time with her family. When she gets the chance, she enjoys relaxing with a good book and traveling to warm, sunny destinations.

Sheri

Hygienist

Sheri is a highly experienced dental hygienist with over 20 years in the dental field. She earned her dental hygiene degree from William Rainey Harper College and has built a reputation for providing thorough, compassionate care to her patients. Sheri's dedication and warm personality have made a lasting impression- so much so that many of her longtime patients have followed her to our office to continue their care with her.


Outside of work, Sheri enjoys traveling to new places and loves visiting garden centers whenever she gets the chance. She is also a devoted animal lover and can't imagine life without a pet by her side.

Izzy is an insurance coordinator who has worked in our office for 3 years. As a insurance coordinator she helps patients utilize their insurance benefits and makes sure that their information is up to date and as accurate as possible. Izzy enjoys meeting and getting to know patients and helps answer any questions and concerns that they may have. In her free time Izzy enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.

2005 - 2014:  Active member of the Batavia Rotary Club serving as Club Secretary for 3 years.


2006 - 2009: Partner with the Batavia Mainstreet organization


2009 to Present: Toys for Tots drop off center. 2013 helped raise over $5000 in toys and contributions for the Fox Valley children in need.


2014: I have partnered with Toys for Tots Literacy campaign to help the underserved children of the Batavia area learn to read.


2019: Partners with Batavia United Way


2022 - 2026: Batavia Youth Baseball Sponsor
