Designed for the Best Dental Experience Possible
From the first day this office was designed, we have had your positive experience in mind. Our office is built in an open plan and is painted in pleasing, cheery colors. We have a private consultation room in which you can hear about your options and get the assistance you need to make up your mind about treatment. We emphasize education because we have found this helps our patients understand their choices, and we have plenty of resources in our office to help you.
Our staff have been chosen carefully as well. You’ll find that each one is interested in your health, your treatment and your concerns. Please keep us informed of your needs as we work together on your dental care.
We also listened to our patients when we established the schedule for our office. We have appointments available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to make it possible for you to work in a visit around your other activities. That way, there never has to be a reason to neglect the care your teeth need.
We’ve worked hard to give you the ideal location to take care of your teeth for your whole life. Whether you are a new patient or it’s time to schedule your next appointment, please call us at 630-984-5605.
Batavia IL dentist Dr. Ronald Murphy graduated from dental school in 2002, and worked as an associate dentist for 2 years before moving to Batavia. He has completed over 800 hours of continuing education since graduating from dental school.

We know that sometimes it is difficult to find the time to get to the dentist so we have convenient morning appointments that start at 7 am and evening appointments that go to 7 pm.
In his practice, Dr. Murphy focuses on services that help his patients keep their teeth. The very best situation is when teeth can be saved rather than needing to be replaced by dentures or other treatments. If that’s your goal and you’ve never been to our office before, please come learn how we can help you achieve this goal. And if you are an existing patient, we hope you will continue to let us help you maintain that beautiful smile for years to come.
To save those pearly-white teeth, we emphasize the importance of preventive dentistry with every patient we see. Retaining all your teeth requires starting with the fundamentals of good dental care: a thorough at-home regimen and regular visits to our office.
Did you know that you should be brushing twice a day for two full minutes each time? And you should be using a soft-bristle brush? You should also be flossing once a day, preferably before you brush. This at-home care is key to retaining those teeth. Of course, you also need to come to our office regularly for thorough cleanings and examinations.
This basic level of care keeps tartar from building up on your teeth and breaking down your enamel. And when we can do examinations twice a year (more often for a few people), we can catch problems while they are still small and inexpensive to fix. That way, these small problems can be eliminated before they can become a threat to the survival of your teeth.
Don’t forget that healthy teeth depend on healthy gums. When you come see us for exams, we will also make sure that your gums are pink and healthy.
There’s so much we can do to help our patients achieve more beautiful smiles, while at the same time helping them keep their teeth. In our office, we can whiten teeth that have become dull, give them a shiny, new porcelain face to show off if they have become chipped or deeply stained, and correct their alignment with a method that’s almost invisible to your friends and family.
When we treat fillings, you won’t end up with metal fillings that darken with age—your new fillings will blend in perfectly with the color of your natural teeth. We also have a very efficient and quick way to correct small problems, such as irregular shapes or lengths and chips or gaps between the teeth.
We know many of our patients value a bright, beautiful smile and we are here to help you with cosmetic services, if this is your goal, too. Cosmetic improvements to one’s smile can bring a big boost to confidence as well as enjoyment of life and we are just as happy as our patients when they see the final results of their cosmetic dentistry.
Restorative dentistry includes all the dental treatments that ensure a patient has a full set of teeth which perform all their important functions. They should, of course, help you chew your nutritious food and provide the proper structure for correct speech. They also help maintain the shape of your face, especially your lower face and jaw. In our office, we will use all our skills to preserve the health of every one of your teeth. If you have lost teeth or if one simply must come out, we’ll help you decide on the best way to replace it.
Restorative dentistry includes fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers and dentures. We can help you with all your restorative dentistry needs.
We love treating the children in our community. We know that we have the opportunity to teach the next generation how to preserve their teeth for their whole lives. That’s why we work closely with moms and dads to encourage them to start bringing their kids in to see us for the first time when they reach two years of age. At that time, we’ll do an initial evaluation and provide our recommendations, and then we would like to start seeing them regularly when they start kindergarten.
Because Dr. Murphy has three young daughters at home, he knows just how to make a small child comfortable as that child begins a lifetime of good dental health. If you have any questions about dental care or treatment for your children, please call our office.
We know that accidents happen. And surprises in the form of toothaches show up when least expected. That’s why we make ourselves available for emergency care. When an emergency strikes, we will do our best to fit you into our schedule as soon as possible. It’s very likely that with some quick service, we can alleviate the immediate problem and then we can work together on the treatment plan to get everything back to normal again. Call us at 630-984-5605 to get our emergency help.

Sensitive teeth often come from the fact that your gums have slightly receded. This recession of the gum line allows the underlying dentin to show through, which allows water and food easier access to the sensitive nerve. To manage this, there are a number of toothpastes, gels and even some dental procedures that can be applied. Speak to us in more detail if you have very sensitive teeth.
- Bad Breath
- Gum Recession
- Gum Sensitivity to Acidic Foods
- Tooth Pain
- Tooth Loss
White fillings, also known as composites, are made of plastic or glass polymers. These cosmetic fillings allow us to fill a cavity with a substance that will look and feel just like your existing tooth structure. This restoration is created with a resin material and fits tightly into a tooth to prevent decay. Rather than a gray or silver material in your mouth, the composite color will match the tooth color.
- Tooth Whitening
- Porcelain Veneers
- Porcelain Crowns
We have the capability to improve your smile using all or some of these procedures. For an exact consultation, please contact our office so that we may provide you with a customized treatment plan.
