How do you choose a Dentist?

Moving is a stressful time. You’ve got to re-situate yourself to everything around you. The places you used to go are now far away and that means a new gym, new local restaurants, and a new dentist.

Choosing a dentist isn’t like going down to the store and just picking one off the shelf. Every Dentist is a little different – some are funny, some are quiet, some have a really big front office.

When you move to a new area, here are some things to consider when picking a Dentist. (Psst! We hope you’ll pick us!)

1. Ask others for recommendations! This used to just be talking to family and friends but with the age of the Internet, you can quickly go online and read hundreds of reviews of other people’s experiences.
2. Consider convenience. Are you looking for a dentist close to home or work? What kinds of hours are best for you and is the office open during those times?
3. Call to inquire. Our website can answer many questions for you, but if you have a specific question, give the office a call. Some offices are booked up to a month out!
4. Evaluate! After your first appointment is complete, look back at your experience. How did you feel about the experience? How did you like the front office and the staff? Were appointments kept on time, or were you waiting around?
