Meet the Doctor

You can rest assured that you’ll receive the personalized attention you deserve. As your dentist in Batavia IL, he will listen to your needs and answer all your questions. Plus, you’ll enjoy our friendly, caring team. Dr. Murphy graduated from SIU Dental School in Alton, IL in 2002. He did his undergraduate at Bradley University graduating in 1998. His practice is located in Batavia, IL where he has been practicing since January of 2005. He resides in Batavia with his wife and three young girls. During dental school, Dr. Murphy went to Jamaica on a humanitarian trip where the team of doctors and students performed extractions, cleanings and basic restorative procedures. Furthermore, when he graduated from SUI Dental School, he received an award from The Academy of Operative Dentistry.


He is currently a member of American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society (http://www.isds.org), Fox Valley Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has received an award for Top Doc organization in 2011.


Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time within the community. He has been a member of Batavia Rotary since 2005 and severed as Secretary of the club for 2 years. Furthermore, he is member of Batavia Chamber of Commerce and served on Batavia Access Fireworks Committee.


Dr. Murphy likes to spend his free time traveling to warm places. Furthermore, he enjoys deep sea fishing. He is still looking for the blue marlin that got away from him on his honeymoon in 2002. In addition, Dr. Murphy enjoys spending time with his family. The three little girls keep him hopping.

Rachelle has worked in the dental field since 2014 first as a dental assistant and furthered her education to become a Dental Hygienist where she found her passion. Rachelle graduated hygiene school at Lake Land College in 2018 with all honors and was in the National Honors Society of Leadership and Success. She joined our team in December 2022 here at Dr. Murphy’s Office. Rachelle enjoys sharing her knowledge and educating patients on the importance of their oral hygiene so each one of her patients is provided optimal oral health. 



Rachelle married her husband in 2019 they have a daughter together and have two dogs named Stella and Reo. She loves spending time with her family and loves traveling to warm places.

As a dental assistant, I enjoy helping my patients get healthy and the relationships that I develop and being able to be part of their lives. I grew up in the Fox Valley area and have a family of my own. When I am not chasing my children around, I love spending time with my extended family. In my down time, I enjoy reading Collen Hoover who writes wonderful mystery novels.

Insurance Coordinator

Izzy is an insurance coordinator who has worked in our office for over a year. As a insurance coordinator she helps patients utilize their insurance benefits and makes sure that their information is up to date and as accurate as possible. Izzy enjoys meeting and getting to know patients and helps answer any questions and concerns that they may have. In her free time Izzy enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.

Community Service

2005 to Present:Active member of the Batavia Rotary Club serving as Club Secretary for 3 years.


2006-2009: Partner with the Batavia Mainstreet organization


2009 to Present: Toys for Tots drop off center. 2013 helped raise over $5000 in toys and contributions for the Fox Valley children in need.


2014: I have partnered with Toys for Tots Literacy campaign to help the underserved children of the Batavia area learn to read.
